Do You Want To Be Like Bill Gate?

Bill Gate Net worth

I read about an interesting saga between Bill Gate's Column reader and himself.
The inquisitive reader wanted to know why he would still be working despite the enormous wealth he has to his name. The book quoted Bill Gate: "The answer is simple! I do what I find interesting and challenging, and I think I have the best job in the world".

Then, I couldn't help but ask questions:
Why would Bill Gate make billions of Dollars from his early years?
Why would he ditch school for Microsoft?
Why would he allow his children to lead humble lives?
Why will he be using his wealth to alleviate poverty and defeat Polio -- I mean his hard-earned money?

It only made sense when I remembered that he thinks he has the best job in the world -- a job he finds interesting and challenging.

Can you imagine how sweet it is to do what you love?
You will be told "let's go home", but you'll beg for more minutes. You enjoy it a lot that you relish every opportunity to do it over and over again.

I think if you want to be like Bill Gate- wealthy and leading an enjoyable modest life, then "DO WHAT YOU LOVE."

It will save you the frustration of doing what you don't love; Frustrations that can strain your relationship with people and affect your attitude towards work.

If you find the things you love, enlisting yourselves among the Crème de la crème of the society just got easier. And if you are seeking to just lead a fulfilled live, your path is clear.

GUIDE TO ACTION:
Do you need to take one or more days to think it out or talk to God? Do you need to ask friends? Do you think your parent has an idea of the things you love growing up? Do you want to continue to experiment with different things with optimism until you find the great deal? Will you take an assessment test or talk to an expert?
One of these must be right for you.

Can you do the things you love and still be frustrated?
Yes.
You could love playing ball but continue to get frustrated if your team keeps losing or getting relegated. You could love writing so much that you start making submissions for writing competitions; yet, you may be frustrated or stagnant if your articles get rejected.
Doing what you love is not a guarantee for success.

Save divine intervention, success is intentional. You'll intentionally commit to training. You'll intentionally commit yourself to read and study. You'll intentionally be committed to blessing lives. You'll intentionally break free from mediocrity.

But you love sleeping, destroying things or...?
If the things you think you love doing is negative, I might have a piece of good news for you. "For every negative thing that is done, there is a right way to it".

Do you love carrying guns? Why steal? Join the military forces and if they think you aren't good enough, join the local vigilante.
You have not fully explored the many ways to be good 'with' what you love to do, you have only been limited by your level of patience and ability to explore (Ignorance).

And if you love sleeping, the right way is to "wake up and work".

Let me leave you with words of my favourite Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan.

Speaking at TED2017 in Canada, he said "You may use your power to build walls and keep people outside or you may use it to break barriers and welcome them in. You may use your faith to make people afraid and terrify them into submission or you can use it to give courage to people, so they rise to the greatest heights of enlightenment. The future you.”
