Brace for Change: Shouldn't have ended as iPhone vs. Samsung war...

We were having this educative lecture and the subject of Nokia popped up.  To cut the already short story shorter, we all wished on their behalf that they had noted the rapidly changing business environment and adjusted their business strategy. Perhaps, we would be witnessing more than the iPhone vs. Samsung war.

Businesses that seek to outlast their founders are businesses that shapeshift into the future of their businesses. As the world moves, so also is their strategy being adapted to fit into the reality of things.

It's a tough decision when as a business owner or marketer want to drift away from what your users have known you for or always want from you. But you must also remember that you may be at a peak rate now, at one point you can expect a decline just as brands like Starbucks had a fair share of theirs.

I suppose that when the decline starts reflecting, what might decide whether you'd be ready to bounce back would be how much you are aligning with your new realities.

So, I hope you stop sitting in the past, and not all about sticking to the original idea. The original idea is the original idea, the difference is just that it is evolving and you must evolve with it.

Keep green-ing.
